At Tuckaway Tree Farm, our story is rooted in family, tradition, and a love for the land. What began as a dream of raising our children surrounded by nature has grown into a thriving family-owned Christmas tree and landscaping tree farm in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.

Our Story – Larry & Ashley

We’re Larry and Ashley, the owners of Tuckaway Tree Farm. When we first discovered the property while exploring the area around our wedding venue, we were immediately drawn to its rolling hills, quiet pond, and the endless rows of Christmas trees. It was exactly the kind of place where we wanted to grow roots — both for our family and for our community. It took 7 years of dreaming and planning to finally make Tuckaway Tree farm our home.

Purchasing the farm gave us the opportunity to create something lasting. Here, we’re raising our family, caring for the land, and sharing the joy of farm life with our visitors. Every season, from planting seedlings in the spring to helping families cut their Christmas tree in December, is part of a cycle we’re proud to continue.

What We Grow & Offer

While our farm is best known for our Christmas trees, we also raise a wide variety of balled & burlapped shade, ornamental, and evergreen trees for landscaping projects. Visitors can also enjoy:

  • Cut-Your-Own Christmas Trees during the holiday season

  • U-Pick Flower Garden in the warmer months

  • On-Farm Stays – including our A-frame cabin, pondside tent, and dome stays coming soon

Every part of our farm is designed to be welcoming — whether you’re stopping by for a tree, planning a stay, or simply enjoying the scenery.

A Place for Families & Community

For us, the farm is more than a business — it’s a gathering place. Each year, we host events like Tag Your Tree Weekend and community contests, where families create traditions and memories together. We love seeing children pick out their first tree, couples returning year after year, and photographers capturing special moments in our fields.

By opening our farm to the community, we hope to share the same sense of peace, tradition, and joy that drew us here in the first place.
