Want to make sure you get your favorite tree? Our tree tagging weekend is in October — tickets go on sale in September. Come early, choose your tree, and reserve it for the holiday season. Then, return when you’re ready to cut it down and take it home.

📍 Location: Just 15 miles from State College, close to Rothrock State Forest and Belleville Amish Country.
📅 Season: Tag Your Tree Weekend is October 25th and 26th 2025; we open for the season on November 22nd. Our hours will be:

CLOSED Nov 24-27
Open Friday Nov 28 - Sunday Dec 7: 10AM-4PM
After Dec 7th, Open Saturdays & Sundays 10AM-4PM and Weekdays by appointment (link will be available on our website)
🌲 Trees: 5-9 ft Douglas Fir, Canaan Fir, Korean Balsam Fir, and Concolor Fir ($10-$12 per foot depending on type)
Come start (or continue!) your family tradition at Tuckaway Tree Farm — the perfect place for fresh Christmas trees in Central Pennsylvania.
All the Details:
When you arrive, you’ll park in our parking lot. Someone will greet you in our store or outside to help provide additional instructions. We have handsaws to use (no chainsaws allowed) and sleds to pull your tree. Please cut your tree down as close to the ground as possible. Our team will measure your tree and provide you with a tag to check out. After paying, you’ll be able to pick up your tree and head home to decorate!
We will shake, bale, and/or drill your tree for no additional charge. We also offer a selection of wreaths and curated gifts (including honey from our farm) in our store.
