Tag Your Christmas Tree 2026

Tag Your Tree Weekend | October 31 & November 1, 2026

Start your Christmas tradition a little early.

Visit Tuckaway Tree Farm before our regular Christmas season begins, walk the fields and find the tree that feels just right for your family. Tag it to reserve it, then return during the Christmas season to cut it yourself and take it home.

Tag Your Tree Weekend is especially helpful if you're looking for a larger tree, a particular variety or simply want first pick of the fields.

Tickets are $25 per tree and include a $20 credit toward your Christmas tree.

How Tag Your Tree Works

1. Visit the farm October 31 or November 1
Bring the family and explore the Christmas tree fields before our regular season begins.

2. Find your tree
Choose from available Canaan Fir, Concolor Fir, Douglas Fir, Korean Balsam Cross and Fraser Balsam Cross trees, including trees up to approximately 11 feet tall.

3. Tag it and make it yours
We'll provide your tree tag and ribbon. Mark your tree so you'll be able to find it when you return. You're welcome to bring weather-safe decorations and have a little fun with it too.

4. Come back and cut your tree
Return during our Christmas season, find your tagged tree and cut it yourself. We'll shake, bale and drill it at no additional charge.

Then put this in a visually distinct little callout:

Make Your Tree Easy to Find

Part of the fun of Tag Your Tree Weekend is making your tree your own. We'll provide ribbon, but families are welcome to bring weather-safe decorations to make their tree easier to spot when they return.

A bright bow, homemade ornament, family name tag or other lightweight decoration can make finding your tree again part of the fun.

Just remember that decorations will be outside for several weeks, so choose items that can handle Pennsylvania weather.

Go all out! After Tag Your Tree Weekend, we'll choose five of our favorite decorated trees and share them on Facebook and Instagram.

Our followers will vote for their favorite, and the winning family will receive a $50 Tuckaway Tree Farm gift card — plus bragging rights for the most festive tree in the field.

Should You Tag Your Tree?

You do not need to tag a tree to visit Tuckaway during our regular Christmas season. We'll have plenty of choose-and-cut trees available.

Tag Your Tree Weekend may be a great fit for your family if:

  • You're looking for a larger tree, especially 9 feet and taller.

  • You want to choose your tree before the busiest weekends of the season.

  • You love the idea of visiting twice and making choosing your tree an even bigger part of your family's Christmas tradition.
